EXT. manifold glows red

Put a motor from a 87 4Runner 22re into a 86 truck. It runs great but when it warms up the ext. manifold glows red. Anyone seen this. P.S. changed the 02 senser the cat seems ok it worked with the other motor and no codes are comming up.

This is gonna get moved but it sounds like your timing is WAY too slow or your exhaust valves are adjusted too tight.

Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??
