can i do it?

im lookin to run 38's or 39's on my 86 pickup. i was wondering with 5 inch marlin's extedned shakels. could i clear them? or would i need to do some trimmin and or highclearance fenders?

it really depends... how much up/down travel do you plan on having?

Your probably going to want to have much more down travel then up travel by adjusting shackle angle further back.

i run 38's with wagonner springs all around with 2" shackles and three in blocks in the rear. i dont think wagoneer springs give much lift but i only had to trim a little bit in the rear to keep from rubbing anything.

i have run 40s with rears up front and chevy springs and 2 inch blocks. with some minor trimming they fit fine
