ive got a 90 toyota 4x4 p/u with the 22RE in it and was wondering if you think it would be capable of flat-towing a samurai that weights 2100 LBS

As long as your clutch is good and you know how to tow, yes. That's also assuming your tires match your gearing properly.

my dad will be driving and he drove a peterbuilt for ~10 years...he knows how to tow
and the tires are 30x9.50 mud kings

its not 2-3 hours away at 55 mph
i flat-towed a 84 ext cab 4x4 toyota without an engine about 20 miles, and it took around an hour..... and that was with a f350 4x4 crew cab, longbed with the 7.3l psd
