the rear driveline can take about 6-8 inches of lift before it gets to short.  the front might work with 4 inches of total lift.  unless the new springs are super flexy.  you will just have to test it and see.

I've gone up to 6 inches before having front driveshaft issues on semi flexy springs, any more than that and you may have to get a longer front ds.

if your moving your front axle spring forward any then you won't beable to lift it as much...i lifted mine about 3.5" - 4" and the DS will sometimes slip apart...and i didn't move my axle forward any.

so if your planning on going rears up front, plan for a new DS.

It depends!

I did stock rears up front combined with the stock front for a 6 leaf pack. Stock drive shaft was over an inch too short.  I'm got about 3" of lift on a 1st gen mini.  This was using stock front hangers and sky banana shackles.

if you've got lockout hubs just go ahead and build yourself a square d-shaft.
16" of 2.5" .250 wall seamless sqaure and 16" of 2" .250 wall square. total cost of materials is about $20 give or take and its also strong enough and will be long enough for a dual t-case later if you chose.
