Dome Light Question....

I have a dome light out of a 87 pickup that has the reading lamps, that I want to instal in my 85 4runner... But I am affraid to cut the headliner if there is no factory attachments there behind the headliner... does anyone know if this will work? Is there factory mounts and wiring under there??

You should be able to unbolt the stock dome light and check the wiring, and while you're at it reach a finger inside the headliner and see if the mounting bosses are there.
