I swapped power steering pumps and the "new" one has two vacuum ports, where do they go and do I need them? I'll get a pic if it's needed.

The EFI pumps have vacuum ports on em.  The carbed ones do not.  I dunno what the vacuum does though, unless it varies the amount of pressure.

It is an idle up feature so that when you are turning hard and taxing the pump it automatically idles up the engine to give you more fluid flow.  If you have a carbed engine you might be able to get away with running a hose from one to the other to seal up the port...I don't know.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

So, it's not really needed? I am EFI, just never got around to putting this pump on till now, while I do the engine swap.
