I've got an autometer oil pressure and water temp gauges that I need to hook up before I start up my new motor.  The oil pressure gauge has a 1/8" NPT Sender and includes 1/4'' NPT adapter/fittings.  What size is the stock oil pressure hole in the block?

Same thing with the water temp gauge.  It has a 1/8" NPT Sender and includes 3/8" and 1/2" NPT adapter/fittings.  Where is the best place to tap into for water temp?

Any help would be great!

i think i actually  too the brass oil fitting i had  and used a metric die  and made it metric,  NPT  is National Pipe Thread

best place for water temp is at the front of the intake near the thermostat

So are the Toyota's metric or BSP?  I found adapters on autometer's website to convert from NPT to either metric or BSP.

Do places like Napa sell these type of adapters?
