what way does the clutch disc go???

soooo if ya dont know im doin a 2wd to 4wd conversion and the clutch discs are not the same.... so what way does the disc go in?? its a marlin 1600lb... i have searched for a while but havent seen pics of what way it goes in??? help people!!

it should be printed on the disc,  but i ususally install them  hi side in,   ive had a pressure plate eat into a disc befor  that was put hi side out/ facing the pressure plate
