hey guys. just started lookin around here and am interested in buyin the W56-C-HD 5sp tranny for my pickup. i have a 90 Pickup 4WD with a 3in body lift on 31's with extended rear shackle's and slightly cranked torsion bars. i havent really done any mods to it yet but would really love to when i get the money to do so.

thats what my truck looks like now. hope you guys like it.
im from spokane, wa. it seems that no one else up here cares about toyotas, makes me sad. so if your from around here that would be sweet.

:welcome: welcome to Marland. I like yer truck though I would lose the cab thingy and "nerf" bars to make it truly trail-worthy. There's a bunch of peeps from WA on here.  :beerchug:

both the nerf bars and visor were put on by the previous owner. i do need to take of the nerf bars. the only problem with the visor is i would have to repair the drill holes. at the moment i dont have the time to do so. i am thinkin of paintin the truck sometime in the next few months so when i do that i will repair the holes.

nope, Geius is what its supposed to be. its a name of an old Roman politician. i just liked the name tho. then maniacal is another word for insane or crazy.

:welcome: and no offense, :psss: but I think you still have it misspelled. Did you mean Gaius? As in Gaius Julius Caesar?
But NBD, and I love the Maniacal part! Great touch!

you can spell it either way. there was Gaius, like you said, but at one point there was another named Geius. also, Gaius is pronounced (Gay-ius) but Geius is pronounced (Guy-ius) i just like how this one sounds!

 :thumbs:  I'll take your word for it. I googled both versions and only found results for the Gaius spelling (except for one hit of the Geius spelling and that was your screen name on another yota board :yupyup: )

according to wikipedia on Roman Politicians:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Ancient_Roman_politicians

Oh, and in watching a History channel series on rome that Gaius spelling was also pronounced Guy-us.

But whatever, like I said NBD, carry on

- MrsWillyMammoth the Maniacal  -->    <-- Geius

Back ON TOPIC! no matter how you spell it, your truck is very cool :thumbs:
