hi everyone
lookin forward to learnnig alot from this site beinng that i just got into 4wheelling...i just purchased my first 86 4runner and have to say that i enjoy takeing it offroad.
i think it is a pretty good start but the engine needs more power(22re efi) anything that i can do to it to get some extra ummp...was thinking turbo charging.

:welcome: I would do a supercharger over a turbo for low-end oomph. Or an engine swap. Honestly these things (22r) are built for reliability not power. The first thing I would do is let that pregnant dog breathe! A quality set of headers and 2" pipe would be a great start. Oh and :worthless:

:welcome: to the board. You'll never find legal pavement pounding or rock pulverizing power for a 22re, now reliability of one can't be beat.
