mass air flow toyota-86

hy have problme whit my mass air flow , have modified engin 22re , y have 89 intake ported w v6 injector, they head or planed .10mm and is ported valve , have steenless valve orver size , the block is theyked .05mm , and the piston is over size .40mm , the crank is stroker , y change the piston for a nother model.

but the problem is , on cold start they engin wont start  y push the mass air flow palette more and the motor start ,  motor warmed , engin start with no probleme , the question they have any ajustement for the mass air flow  ?

toy80  you need to adjust the afm  to accomodate your engine mods,   i cant remember the details but i'll pm a couple guys that have dont this mod and see what we can do

To be a helpful standup guy like I am the way you adjust the airflow meter is cut the silicon that hold in the cap, then loosen the small screw that holds one of the wheels in there and then rotate the wheel very slowly.  It should not take more than 4 teeth off to get what your going for.  turning it one way makes you mixture more rich and one way makes it leaner.  for more info on this mod check on pirate4x4 in the toyota faq under AFM trick or More Power.  My motor is built up very simular to yours but I never did any of that and it runs pretty damn strong so you might have something else wrong
