Some cool pics.  Did you get the 30 splines yet?  I see you got some half doors and a new fender.  It is looking pretty good.

Cool pics Al, we ran pumpkineater also, but didn't make it over to the waterfall. The V-notch was fun. We had a good time out there also. Take it you didn't go to Calico on Sunday. Damn wind chased me out, the noise I keep hearing in the front end is a u-joint I think :crossed: it is lose, going to change it this weekend. Catch you later.....

Chase, Allright. I'm glad it was something easy. You don't have to pull the diff or transfer case.
Dennis built a square shaft for the rear and didn't want to drive over to Calico.
The wind let up Sunday and we made the best of it at Pumpkin.

  Good job on the pics and such...
Looks like fun, huh. I was fixing to leave Sunday morning and Justin (NWF fan who was with us at Corral Canyon) came by and wanted to do Pumkin Eater. So after talking it over (and since Justin was wearing his official NWF shirt) we went on that run. Those waterfalls are 30+ degrees, pretty gnarly. I had to air down to 3.5PSI, 4PSI wasn't cutting it. Air was burping out of the bead at 3.5PSI though... Justin took me on another (unknown named) trail that ends up at the top of the mountain overlooking Barstow road (and a huge split telephone pole---WHO KNOWS THE NAME OF THAT TRAIL??) and we climbed a rocky outcropping. We'll we planned on leaving Sunday night, but ended up staying until Monday morning. Dang, got 2 hours of sleep before work but it was still fun. It was good to see you there and take on Empire Strikes Back (thanks for getting us there Dennis).
