488s vs 529s ? ? ? ?

Hey Guys_____ is there a STRENGH DIFFERENCE   between 529”s with 35s and 488 with 33s gears? ? ? I read conflicting views, just curios about some opinions and reasons. Thanks in advance_____ BAYRUNNER

When ever you increase your tire size or reduce your gear ratios you will usually be decreasing the reliability.

Therefore you are less likely to break something with 33" tires and 4.88 diff gearing.

i wasnt able to break 5.29s   with 40" boggers in the rocks.. and im a gear killin sob.. the whole strength  thing i think is a bunch of hooey..

I would agree with you, personaly I think it is all about instalation and setup.  If a gear set is not installled properly it wont last, but if it is setup right your golden.

5.29s and 33s.  Then you can drag race civics  :D
85 Toyota Pickup, with a sweet hurst shifter!
