I've got a 1985 honda 200s ATC

First bike/trike I've ever owned, I've ridden a lot of friends stuff, but I never had my own.  Finally picked it up for 260, when its running it's a kick in the pants!!

biggest dirt bike is the old tt500, for 4 strokes.
dont think anybody makes one that size for a 2 stroke.

Not since the old 500 2 strokes, I'm sure you could find one of those and revive it.

You can make a lot of power out of a 450. My stock Kodiak 450, which is a little anemic for a 450 can pull some serious weight. I wish I had gotten the Grizzly 660, but live and learn...

but for a dirt bike you dont need that much power, usually u don't pull anything with one (unless ur lazy and don't feel like pushing the truck by hand)

Exactly, I am fully happy with under 50hp on a dirtbike.

I like the quads, something about it having 4 wheels. I have a suzuki z400 with a full yoshi pipe. I mainly ride it in the dunes drag racing and jumping.

There again, can't remember a 500 2 stroke, it stopped at the yz490.  Even with damon bradshaw's race bike the factory techs still couldn't get it to stop detonating.  They did call the wr500 a 500, but it was just a retuned 490.

If you are talking specificaly Yamaha, no they never made a 500cc 2-smoker.  But Honda made the CR500 and Kawasaki had th KX500.  Suzuki never had a 500cc bike, but they did make the LT500 quad in the 80's.

You want some serious HP, my cousin is in to the sand drags down in oregon at sand fest and he has a Trinity racing twin 535cc power valve motor that when ran on straight Alcohol it is pushing 130hp.
It is fast enough to easily beat a two seater LS1 sand rail.

Now that's what I'm talking about :rockingout:

Well man, whiteman's right, no 500 2 stroke from yamaha.  And you're thinking king quad man!  I rode my friend's early 90s kx500 and it was wicked.  I've never had such bad arm pump so quickly!  I'd really like to find an xr400 with the baja kit already, since you can't get em street legalized in cali anymore  , maybe lower it an inch or so and have some fun!  Dang cotton hill legs o mine don't bode well for full size bikes!
