It can..... and has been done. V8 or V6 here's a link to a company in FL. that sells conversion kits. I'd give 'em a call and see what's up.

I would rather have a zuk frame then a full size frame, there is a guy on pirate with a samurai on rockwells. 44s and a 350 with stock frame and last I herd it was fine

I would imagine that a zuki frame may just be stronger than most fullsizes. zuki is fully boxed from the factory where most fullsize trucks are not. The biggest problem I had with my Willys was that it was just a c-channel frame, it flexed something awful even after boxing the frame.

I've seen tons of 350's in samurai's... most of them were half done and on jack stands at the back of the "park".... if he does do it please do it right and take your time ona nice frame extension and 3link up front.

I personallly vote for a V6 b/c of the fuel efficiency and it's easier to fit
I'm going yota JUST so I can buy from Marlin more.

the other thing i just found is a 3.0 yoda diesel. i think this would be the best thing to do so im going to get more info on this diesel. and probly dump the v6 or v8 and go diesel power.
