heater fan wiring
« on: Feb 18, 2006, 02:07:47 PM »
I am having a hard time getting power to my heater fan.  I have power to both sides of the fuse ( all fuses and both fusible links at the battery).  I have power to the switch and the heater resister( for slow, med, and fast fan speeds).  The only wire that has no power is the wire that hooks up to the positive wire for the fan itself.  I tried tracing that wire, which is white with a black stripe, but it got lost in the wiring harness.  Before I hack apart the harness I was hoping that someone knows where the switch/resistor/power wires connect.  I am also open to ideas about wiring the heater fan directly from the battery.  Thanks for the help-I know very little about electrical problems and Chilton is lacking any useful wiring diagrams.
