Topic: Torque converters

   I am will be running a 4.3 V6 Chevy with a 700R4 tranny, tcase unsure as of yet.  4.88 gears and a 40" tire.  I am wondering about an aftermarket torque converter and what size/stall to run?  Many thanks  Jim

i'm still running stock.with duel cases and 4.7 have'nt had any trouble with it. running 5.13 s and 42 inch irocs been in 5 years now .daily driver '. hard core wheeling

   Do you think it could be a little tighter?  Does it want to jump when you put it in gear from park due to all the gearing?   Of course it's not bad to leave well enough alone...I am just not that type of person.  LOL

i got about 30000 miles on it . hard miles . got another truck with a stall in it don't like it jump to much it got 538 s 38.5  tires stall seem to hard on trans gets hot
