Crawler ?'s & Yota HELP
« on: Mar 02, 2006, 10:42:10 AM »
I was wondering what someone could tell me about a marlin crawler dual case setup with the HD input shaft and the 4.7 in the front case? I heard they are bomb proof but just wanted to get some info about them? Also with the 4.7 in the front case is that going to affect daily driving at all?

The reason I am asking is because I'm looking at the 85 4runner by turtle4x in the for sale section.

Any info would be appreciated! THX

if the rear case is 23 spline then yeah it will be fine no it will not affect your on road driving because the 4.7 gearset only changes the low range when both cases are in high they both have a 1:1 ratio so its just going straght through if the rear case is 21 spline then you will have problems with breaking the input in the rear case

Since the the 4.7's are in the first case it leads me to believe it is 23 spline but I don't know for sure. At least that is what I came up with searching on here?
