Chevies work well on a full bodied runner but they are the suck on a light rig.  If you can get over the rock anchor factor of them they'll work well.

Personally I like bronco II's and rangers.  Caddies are also a sweet spring and you can find them for cheap.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

There is a bunch of pics in a thread titled ShawnB's buildup in the project's section.  I put caddies with 2 chevy pickup leaves int hepack.  They work awesome, Im considering putting them on my truck. ;)

How did you like the ride with the 4 inch lift pro comps in the rear?  I'm looking for a 4 inch lift spring to put in the back of my 85 4runner.

Here is the list I got from one of White Trash's posts:
Seville:1976-79
Appollo:1973-75
Camaro:1967-81
Firebird:1967-81
Nova:1968-79
Omega:1973-79
Phoenix:1977-79
Skylark:1975-79
Ventura II:1971-77

I got mine off of a '79 Seville.  I'm putting mine in a full-bodied 4Runner and am gonna experiment with add-a-leafs and toyota leafs.  I'm hoping the spring hangers are gonna be welded on tomorrow for it.  I'm gonna cut the bushings, sleeve and eye sleeve to fit in 2-1/2" CJ spring hangers that I have.  From bushing end to bushing end they are like 3-3/8" wide, so unless you use the stock Caddie spring hangers or make your own you kind of have to do some adapting.  But, it seems like these things will be really flexy.

MY 84 EXTRA CAB HAS 63 INCH CHEVY LONG SPRINGS THEY RIDE GREAT AND HAVE A LOT OF FLEX. IT GAVE ME ABOUT 4.5" TO 5" LIFT. I DON'T KNOW IF U WONT THAT EXTREME OF A CONVERSION OR NOT BUT IT WORKED OUT GREAT FOR ME. IT IS FAIRLY CHEAP TO

GMC Sonoma/Chevy S-10's. Weld a new hanger 6" foward, and bolt 'em up. I needed a 2" block to level it out with the front.

   I'd say get some Marlin or AP 4" springs, weld on new hangers, and be done with it.  They have already been tested and work pretty well.   :twocents:
