Fiberglass seats from Summit
« on: Aug 16, 2002, 08:53:22 AM »
If you run mud in an open rig then these seats are great for you. Also if you like to clean your interior with a hose ;D these are good. There a little hard but if you get the covers I dont think they would be that bad.

$37 each for the black seats
$39 each for the red, blue and yellow seats

$33 each for the black seat covers
$34 each for the black seat covers with a big red, blue or yellow stripe down the middle

You can also get a black seat with a black seat cover for $61.50

They have different mounting kits ranging from $22-$30

Summit also has 5 piont harnesses(cooler than just a seat belt ;D) that arnt cheap but are cool.

Hmmm.... That sure would be a really light weight alternitive for solo runs up 168. I could remove both of my seats and run just the one fiberglass one.. I like it

Has anyone bought these and used them?

Also, anyone have any personal pictures of them (meaning not some pics from Summit's page, some actual pictures of your own hopefully would be cool)

Just courious because I want to get one and use it for race up in the mountains.

How was installation? Rail fitting?
How is comfort for long periods of time?
Initial quality?

Thanks,
Mike
