1984 Toy 4x4 - 3k OBO / trade for dirt bike *** SOLD ***
« on: Feb 16, 2005, 07:43:46 PM »
Truck:
1984 Toyota short bed with a 22r CARB motor rebuilt by Toyota Technician. It use to be blue in color (interior and exterior) and now redone in black and grey. It has a 2” body lift with a new radiator and red Optima battery. It has tilt steering, power windows, Grant steering wheel, and a rebuilt W56 transmission swap (not the wimpy G52 as other 84’s do). E-Brake mounting kit from All-Poo, brakes and bearings were all done last summer (front and rear). I installed a Marlin 1600lb clutch in October '04 with the new pilot and throw out bearings. The flywheel was resurfaced with a .026 step (per Marlin). The tires are 31x12.50x15 TSL Thornbirds with about 60% tread left. Everything else is stock: suspension, gears, and t-case. I did not want to upgrade the tires and wheels until I lifted the truck first… I’ll leave that up to the new owner(s). I also have (4) Black Steelie Rock Crawler rims in 15x8 that are still in the box that can be worked into the deal. The mileage is 206k as of 11/14/05.

Interior/Exterior:
The seats are from a 95 Integra in grey fabric with new factory grey seatbelts. The glass has all been replaced including the front windshield (small chip near wiper) and rear one piece slider. The bed and interior have been Herculined and includes the High Lift mounts. The door panels were redone in black vinyl with all new switches and accessories done in black. No carpeting - just floormats and Herculiner ( I have a brand new carpet kit in charcoal with the padding if interested). The guage cluster looks like an SR5 model: MPH, Tach, Oil, Temp, Volts, and Fuel. The dash was painted black and a black dash pad was added.

Motor:
Rebuilt with less than 3500 miles on it
Block from an 85 EFI Celica
Head surfaced - Dome top pistons and bored .020 over
Complete Toyota OEM gasket kit used

I used the following LC Engineering parts:
LCE Stage 2 cam (Not SMOG approved, but I still have the stock cam)
Rocker Arm Assembly
Camshaft Kit (Pro Valve Guides, Pro Dual Valve Springs, Titanium Retainers, Valve Spring Shims, Viton Valve Seals, and Valve Keepers)
ARP Head Bolts
Red Valve cover / oil cap
*LCE Motor Mounts*

Exhaust:
NWOR Headers with black ceramic coating from Jet Hot (Jet Hot 2000). This was an upgraded coating from the 1300 deg that most headers are done in. The factory nickel plating from NWOR was stripped off by Jet Hot to allow for their ceramic process. O2 sensor in the headers was installed. The Cat was replaced by a high flow one and the rest of the exhaust was done in 2 ¼” with a MagnaFlow muffler pointing at the rear axle.

NOTE: The truck will not pass CA smog since the CARB junk was not installed (Still have it though). In order to make it SMOG legal you will need to swap the CAM, headers, and install the vacuum lines (etc.). I have all the stock parts, except the headers to make it legal.

Check my profile for contact details. Willing to trade for 2003 or newer CRF 250 / RMZ 250... plus cash if needed.

Update:

I will be moving this vehicle to Salt Lake City, Utah in October if anyone is willing to pick it up there. I'll be traveling from San Jose through Reno I-80 across Nevada in case anyone wants to meet along the way.  :beerchug:

Registration is paid through August 2006.
