part number help
« on: Jun 29, 2005, 06:44:12 PM »
I have completed the rear brake mod for my 1985 toyota 4runner.

problem..The calipers leak around the banjo fitting.Being here on the islands we have NO GM dealer.

I have a friend going to Kentucky, so I can have him get the part.I am hoping some one can fwd me a part number.

That way there won't be any confusion when he gets there.

He just left.

Thanks Chuck

so are you saying the bolt is bad, the calipers are junk, you need a new hose, or you just need a couple copper crush washers?

I need the crush washers..I guess four of them. One on either side of the brass banjo fitting.Just under the caliper.. I would provide a picture but my camera took a walk.
