$500 FJ80
« on: Jun 20, 2005, 05:43:33 AM »
Hey I found a wrecked FJ80 sorta local. They want $500.
It was involved in a front and rear collision so basically someone stopped quick it rear ended a car and it was rear ended by a car.
It's a 1992 with 200k on the motor the FJ80 is from California and had a transmission put into it with a 100k on it.
The worst of the damage was the right front fender and it has a broken pitman arm and bent tierod. Would it be worth getting for a wheeling rig?
I was thinking regear with low suspension lift and some lockrights and 38x11.50 boggers on close to stock wheels.
What do you think?

I think it would be worth it just to say you bought an FJ80 for 500 bucks, seriously though as long as the frame isnt garbage you should be golden, build something like Slee Offroads Short Bus

We know, and you'd probably spend -$500.00 building it!  :gap:

If I lived closer to you I would gladly donate the $500 start up costs for the build!   :disturbed:
