If you are talking about trimming your fenders, just use a tape measure, measure out how much you want to trim, break out the sawzall.

There are pics of my fenders trimmed in my gallery, trimmed them 3".

There is a line that follows the main flow of the fender.  If you follow this line it will take off about 1.5 inches(I think) you can see my trim job in my picture.   :turtle:  :usa:

I just did my friends fenders yesterday.
I just followed the line and used a cut-off wheel.
They turned out nicer than when I did another
friends fenders with the sawzall :yesnod:
Oh and make sure you don't cut off the
bottom fender mounting bolts by the bottom of the doors
Good luck and let us know how it turned out.
Roll me back over !!!

I'm going to go back and try something I read on another BBS when I get around to opening them up more.  It was suggested that you also cut perpendicular to the overall cut every few inches in order to re-roll the sheetmetal - in other words create a bunch of tabs so you can fold the sharp edge over.  First, though, like everyone else has said, decide on your line and have at it.  I used a jigsaw.  It was easy to control and left a pretty clean edge.

make the tabs, your tires and your fingers will appreciate it.  you have to make sure you roll the tabs up all the way though, neighbor shaved off a lug when he didnt fold up a tab all the way

Or just cut it far enough where your tires wont touch. And keep your hands out of your fenders! :gap:

Did mine with a grinder and metal cut off wheel.  I taped em first, then I drew a black marker line where I wanted them cut off, then I cut, to me the tape helps keep the cut neater.

I will post 2 pics, one from a side angle and one from a frontish (sp??) angle.
