Marlin's front shackle kit
« on: Dec 28, 2017, 11:40:54 AM »
So I've got an 84 toyota and i'm trying to put the marlin brand shackles on the front springs, and i don't know if maybe i'm retarded or I didn't get the proper spacers in the kit? but can someone tell me if this is right? because it still has a bit of an angle on either side like this \ / any help is appreciated.

I think when 4runner4x4 said some pics would help, he was referring to more pics. Give us a few more angles. Like one with front hanger. It's hard to diagnosis with just that one pic.

A pic of how it looks at fram side too, from the pic it looks like there's a space between bus thing and shackle

Just measuring the space in the picture, it's the same top to bottom. On the grease fitting side the bolt seems to be lower in the bushing than the nut side going through the spring eye.  Could be an optical thing.  :dunno:  :twocents:  Looking at the Marlin site shows a double size spacer on both sides of the spring where yours shows only one on the outside
