Got to test out the bump stops and new shocks. The shocks are great but I need to let a little nitrogen out of the bumps they are super stiff. Was still a good day of wheelin though managed to flop the truck on its side but somehow didn't put a dent or scratch in it.

Got some more done on the truck. Rebuilt some calipers and ordered rotors for the rear disk break swap and got that all done and a new proportioning valve. Pretty happy with the how much better they work. Also cut apart a rear housing to use for pressing out axles. worked great! Also got a psc power steering pump so I built a reservoir and got everything mounted.

The cap is my old re cap that I cut off and welded to this. All the fittings and hoses came from surplus center.

Final update for a while since I have to head back to school. Finally built a battery box so I could ditch the rafting strap.

Box layout.

little work with the plasma cutter and finger break.

Fits like a glove.

Did you get your PS reservoir dialed in yet?

Thanks!

I filled it past the return and it quit cavatating but the fluid level is up so high that it spews out the cap. Im going to build another out of aluminum and TIG weld it all together and put the feed and return at the bottom.

Also got to take it out for one last go before it gets parked for a while. The snow was pretty much the exact opposite of ideal but it was still fun.

Got to go home over the weekend and tinker around a little bit. Finally put front blinkers on the truck and added some 3 in the morning hanging out in the garage with buddies racing stripes. not sure how much I like them but the whole truck is spray paint so its an easy fix. you can see one of the blinkers in the picture from the front. They were just some cheap LED lights from auto zone.
