Have you started by checking for any leaks in the brake system and bleeding it?

Are all your bearings in great condition as well...
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

I have good peddle after a couple pumps,no air in lines when bled them last time.

What would bearings hav to do with the problems?

Have heard I might need a residual pressure valve.Don't know what it is or does.

Are you running a single or dual diaphragm brake booster?

How recent is the new master cyl.
there is a bench bleeding process of the master cyl. prior to install.
if this process is not done it can be impossible to bleed out the air trapped in the master cyl.  :twocents:

Have heard I might need a residual pressure valve.Don't know what it is or does.

It holds a small about of pressure on the brakes to prevent the caliper pistons from retracting too far, thus preventing more pedal travel.

Time to go wheelin!

I'm wondering if the 7/8's MC is to small. What exactly is your front brake set up? Rotors, and callipers?

I got my residual valve at Summit Racing. It's plumbed into the rear brakes.
Time to go wheelin!
