Which vw diesel would be the best ? And I've seen some of the guys on this forum do the om617 swap and it was to tall for the first gem. Would I have the same problem with my 85? Would I have to make a custom hood scope? And what engine year would be the best for the vw diesel be and year of the om617 and do you guys think it would be better to have a Manuel pump or fuel injected vw diese.
