Thanks  IronClad, this info is exactly what I was looking for. On my way back from the TLCA club meeting, I stopped by that Cat scale, but it was apparently closed down for the night. Here is a pic of the box at the scale (it had some "cover your rear" sign hanging on it).

So do you think they will print out a certified receipt for me if I don't have a truck number? :headscratch:


Id imagine they will. Just tell them you dont have a number and are a normal vehicle, They may ask for your name or somthing. Everytime i was on one i was in a big rig with all that type of info.  Weird that it was closed, Ive never seen a truck stop with a scale closed. Especially one with a CAT scale.  Did you press one of the lil yellow buttons? they dont actually press in so you might sit there going uhhhhh till the person inside says somthing. I know the first time i went over one in the big rig and pushed it i had no idea if it worked or not haha.
