Uh, no. I want it to be fixed right so the light comes on when something goes wrong, and it won't pass inspection without a check engine light. That's one of the things they check. ![Smack! :smack:](https://board.marlincrawler.com/Smileys/marlin/smack.gif)
If you want it fixed right then put the correct ECU in your truck. I don't think a resistor will work because the signal the ECU gets from the O2 sensor varies from 0 to 1 volt. If the Ecu doesn't see a varing voltage from the O2 sensor it will turn the engine light on.
