I have a tacoma and I have seriously considered long travel over SAS.  Currently it's a puck lift and ride is way harsh.  If there is any possibility that it will see some harsh off road trails that would put some strain on the front diff and cv axles then I would probably go SAS. But for a DD and camping i'd go long travel.  Nice truck.
Ya the spacer lift I have is way ruff riding. It wont's see to ruff of trails since I have another rig that is dedicated to rock crawling, however I plan on taking this truck offroad for exploring around. I would like to long travel it but I don't like dealing with cv boot problems all the time, I think I am going to ditch the spacer lift and put the bilstein's that I have sitting in my shop on it, get aftermarket uca's and see how it goes.
