I've got a Warn M8000 with amsteel synthetic rope. Used it many times in the past few months and am very happy with it. Simple and reliable. I had a POS harbor freight winch before. It was junk after using it a handful of times. Get the M8000 you won't regret it. Warn describes the Tabor as there values series, entry level winch. I don't like the sound of that.
