Pre-1980 should all be passenger drop.
No Wagoneers had vacuum actuated lockers, but many had a vacuum disconnect on the long side axle which is junk and you want to avoid. It can be identified by a large cast section on the tube with a vacuum actuator.
Any open knuckle disc brake Waggy 44 should have 30 spline axles as far as I know. 1965 would closed knuckle. Note that there were 2 different widths of Wagoneers also, narrow and wide track so make sure you get what suits your needs.
Those axles should run you about a hundred bucks each, maybe a little more if they have been removed and you don't have to deal with the hassle. That's the going rate at a junk yard and they are thick out there.
Here's some info from Bill Avista on Pirate. Looks like you'd want a 1974 or newer for the larger/higher spline count outer shafts.

No limited slip or locking differential was offered.
