Here is a pic of my front axle I have not bent it yet and I beat the hell out of my truck. I think that putting any more metal on your axle is great if you have the money but you should get the 84-85 axle and the conversion kit with all the goodies. Do your swap first then add the extra stuff after you have finished your swap, make sure your ready to do your swap before you start chopping off your ifs!!!
