we install a lot of  the Detroit trutrac in factory vehicles.... they are a "soft" style locker and they hold up well.... no clanking, and minimal spin to lock ratio...

i have one of these in my front. Open rear. I think it works pretty good and i like how i never have to worry about it. Plus i can turn whenever i want.  I plan on spooling the rear.
