A 22r/re no matter what gearing you do whether it's t case, axles, or both is not going to be impressive in the mud in my opinion. There simply isn't the hp.
But then again I avoid mud like the plague so I have no first hand experience. All the people I know that are into that run big motors in old chevy trucks and the like.
