You should get the train horns too. :)

I ran 2.25" with a fairly restrictive muffler and I thought it was on the big end for exhaust size on these engines.  I have a buddy that runs 2.5" strait pipe on a 22R and he says he has lost a noticable amount of bottom end. It sounds great though. I would go with the 2" if I were you if your goal is to make the truck work well.
