I would consider myself somewhere in the middle which to me means lack of being a sheeple. I believe in parts of both sides but when it comes to extreme liberalism and extreme conservatism I'll take the conservatives since there intensions are not to reinvent the clock. Extreme liberalism wants to make us dependent on government which is wrong and socialist in nature. I won't say that this is what they want but they do want and always have wanted our dependency on them thus making them unexpendable. Even with that they come up with programs such as the new healthcare but it is actually forced on you and you have to still pay for it or be fined. First time ever that this has happened, who knows what is next that will be forced upon us. So now if I can't afford the over $5,000.00 a year to insure my family I will be fined $1000.00 for each dependent that I have and don't insure. Then add insult to injury those that are below a certain income get a free ride at my expense so now not only am I paying for my family I have to help pay for even more.

Oh and it dosen't help your point to call people names, it just shows that you truely don't know and understand what is really happening to you.

Sure the target is the current president but isn’t that the point? Isn’t Mike right in what he is pointing out that the liberal media does not paint the elected officials they support in a bad light? I watch both liberal and conservative media outlets and it is funny as hell that an incident that happens to a democrat is down-played or not even broadcast but if it is a republican, independent or other group outside of theirs is played to death? Then if you watch conservative media they not only give you both sides but they will hang a republican as quick as a democrat. Sure they still lean right in their reporting but if the facts bare fruit then you will hear it.

I take all reporting from both sides with a grain of salt and make my own decision on what really is going on and not just whose spin is better. Mike is right on what would happen in the media if it were a republican not just Bush that suggested or did those things.

I don’t know if you realize it but the left is bound and determined to slowly shut you out of what everyone here loves to do in their spare time. So if that is what you want then you might as well sell me your rig now since you won’t need it much longer and will be joining the Sierra Club.

This country is founded on our differences and the party system, president and houses of congress is what keeps one side or the other in check without it we’d either be a dictatorship like Iraq was or a religious oppressed country like Iran.

I love my country for all of  its differences in people and cultures. I embrace them all, though my Indian neighbors food stinks & I hate rap and don’t consider it music.
