Why would you use a Midwest,QA1 or Ruff Heim over something like an FK or Aurora???

Price.  Simple as that.  So far, the Midwest Control heim has worked perfect for my steering aplication (39.5" Iroks, hydro assist).  My 4Runner sits in the garage 98% of the time.  It's taken out 6-10 times over the year and trailered.  Maybe sees 500-1500 miles a year.  The Midwest Control heims were cheep enough I could buy spares and still be less than an FK or Aurora.
