Do the turbo setup man! You wont even notice you have a turbo when you are crawlin. when you do get into a situation where you need to put the hammer down, it fricken rocks cause you have so much available power when that turbo spools up! For example, today we went and wheeled a couple hard crawlin trails. The second trail had some muddy sections with puddles of water right before the rocks. I got into the rocky areas with wet tires and was having a hell of a time getting up until i put my foot into it and spooled up the turbo. It gets the wheelspeed going so fast that i just basically did a 4wheel burnout right up the rocks and over the obstical. Its great having that available power. No its not really neccesary, but its deffinately fun. The other benefit is the fact that even with 40" tires and 4:88 gears I can pull long steep hills on the highway with my tires aired down, and still accelerate instead of down shifting the whole way up. Granted a 22ret wouldnt have as much power as my current setup, but having the power to keep up highway speeds with big tires is deffinately a benefit. Those are the pros I can think of. Cant really think of any cons, except for the fact that it cost more money in upkeep and parts when you need them. I guess thats a pretty obvious con though.
