Some trannys (L-52) have threaded holes in the bellhousing where the same holes in other trannys(W-56) are through holes.
So if you put a w-56 on a 22R there will be some holes that would need to be bolted with bolt and nut as there won't be any threads in the bell housing or the engine block in some locations.
