Correct.  It's an 8" "V-6" dif that toyota added a bunch of extra junk to so it lock the carrier using an electric motor.  Slot and weld the housing (1/2 day job), drill and tap 4 holes to relocate/add studs and you're done.  Much more common on the non-US Landcruisers like the 70 series.  I have an FZJ80 Landcruiser and I believe it's the only US spec cruiser with elockers f+r.
