The hardener would probably be a catalyst, but I don't know how well that would work when rolling.  It's been quite a while since I've dealt with it, but it seems like it may make the paint kick quicker, so if you're not rolling quick enough it may start to harden the roller and paint.  I think you'll be happier with the finished product if you sprayed it, just have to apply more coats  :thumbs:
