Is there not a way to tie the rear steer in with the front steer?
Why would you want to?  
The idea is to leave them seperate and control the rear with a valve.  That way it can go straight (like a normal rear axle) or you can turn it into or out of the turn, depending upon what you are trying to do.  I've wanted to build a rear steer/4wheel steering truck since I was a little kid.  It would be Awsome on the rocks!!
