what does it even do?  i bypassed mine, my buddy did his on his dd without a problem, he says its for carrying heavy loads so when your back is squatted down the rear brake clamps harder.    If your not haulin loads of sand in your truck ditch it
by ditching it you would have full pressure to the rear brakes as is the case when your hualing a load and the ass is squatted down it sends full pressure

i still have the 79 brakes on the rear of my truck and with my LSPV removed years ago i can lock up all 4 of my 35's


tie it up, very easy

OH and adjust your brakes so the drums just barely slide on
