yea, the 20R is a tired little motor,  130 isnt extremely bad, but sure isnt good by a long shot

why didnt you look at the bottom end when you had the head off??

did you replace the valve stem seals?? if the head is done,  find yourself a 81-84 year 22R block thats in good shape ie pistons dont wiggle around in the cylinders and the rod/main bearings are good, even if they are good and tight i would replace them with whatever size they have, you can find the size stamped into the bottom of the bearings, if no number like .010 or .020 are there then they are stock/standard size

they 20R head you have and timing components will all bolt right onto the 22R block

why a 22R block??  because its identical to the 20R block but it has a 92mm bore instead of a 88.5 mm = more power
