Did you contact them to tell them what happened?
This is the first I have heard of it, especially since they use greasable shackle bolts.. and I have heard of no issues with springs..
Now I am not against Marlin by no means.. in fact I was anti-trailgear for the longest time... but when Marlins kit is $500 more (not counting another 100 or so in shipping) and doesn't even come with all the extra stuff trailgear has to offer its hard not to swing that way.. especially on a tight budget.. and realistically.. these parts are identical.. (which is not surprising being that the product line was jacked to begin with)
