Sounds more like a pilot bearing then a throwout bearing. The pilot bearing in rear of crank is know to be an issue. I installed a new on when I swapped to a L52 from a L50 and not long after it started making noise again. Its a pain in the ars too because you have to get the trans back far enough to get to the crank.
