The plastic sucks. I put them on my SOA shackle reversed FJ40. When I installed them there was no mention of "sag" now they hit the springs. I am going to move the front mounts forward, too big a job for the problem. I may try to make some new plastic replacements first. Are you thinking of remaking the plastic parts?
