Scientists can determine what the air was made of thousands of years ago by drilling deep into ice, and collecting core samples with air bubbles trapped within. So maybe the chart does have some accuracy. 
Takes faith to believe the air conditions within the atmosphere have not changed over time. No scientist alive today was alive thousands of years ago to retrieve empirical data that supports that claim.
